SPECIALTIES

These are my passions to treat with acupuncture and shamanic Asian medicine.

I began with fertility, but have since realized that I love to work with current pregnancies, postpartum, and beyond much more. Postpartum care is under represented in all aspects in our current society and it is my passion to offer that to moms. My care is informed by my own experiences of pregnancy, postpartum recovery and child rearing as well as my professional knowledge.

SUPPORT AND RESOURCES

Conditions of the head and brain are complex and unique to the individual. Therefore, they require approaches that are holistic, nuanced, and individualized. Acupuncture allows me to provide effective pain treatment while also helping the patient identify and find ways to manage the other aspects of their lives that may be contributing.  I draw from my physiological knowledge as well as my understanding of psychology and energetics to help the patient understand the root of their circumstances. Accompanied with the physiological remedy of acupuncture, we begin the journey of creating more balance and harmony.

Digestion is a multifaceted issue that often gets treated with a bandaged approach. This can work well in the short-term, but can also lead to longterm detriments. But to be fair, digestion is difficult. The approaches required for true healing are usually quite simple, while the execution is the hard part. Food, after all, is such a big part of our lives physically, emotionally, and socially. I help my patients with the physiological benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. For some, I also help them develop execution strategies along with treatments that catalyze their healing process. Often, I am working with other practitioners such as Naturopatic doctors, nutrition experts, and gastroenterologists.

Acupuncture and Chinese medicine has been used to treat mental health for thousands of years. Psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being are engrained tenets within the body of medicine; to be recognized and considered when treating any patient. Mild conditions respond very well. Deeper conditions will benefit too, but will need to be supported alongside therapies from other mental health experts.

What is intuitive bodywork exactly? Honestly, it’s anything anybody wants it to be. As for how it applies to me? I can feel my body talking to the other person’s body. When I lay my hands on somebody to do manual therapy, acupuncture, or even cupping, I feel their body guide me where I need to go. Either through the feel the of tissue itself, or through our energetic communication. I use my skills in Qi Gong, Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, physiological understanding, and intuitive abilities to release what the body wants released.

SOMATIC REPROCESSING

In today’s fractured society, saying that I do these things can be a hot button. But it is my understanding that spirit is as much a practical reality as matter; its accompanying form of energy. They are Yin and Yang. The energy of life itself, the energy that drives something to exist. So what is our drive to exist? Or your drive to exist? We humans have reached conscious self awareness so we need to also have our own unique purpose. To be aware of one’s own selfhood means to also assign the energy of life, or “a spirit”, there – a spiritual purpose. However, nobody can define what that is for us other than ourselves. This process begins with internal reflection. Internal reflection is necessary to find our inner spirit, to find the piece of each of us that is driving our purpose and need to exist. At it’s core, this is what spirituality is about.
